The Credit Union,
now known as St. Jarlath's Credit Union was setup in Tuam in 1967.
The offices have been in a number of locations, but today operate
from a state of the art facility on Dublin Road.
Since it's
inception in 1967, St Jarlath's Credit Union have opened branches
in Dunmore (1973), Headford (1977), Abbeyknockmoy (1988),
Turloughmore (1991) and Corrandulla / Anaghdown (1992).
St. Jarlath's
Credit Union has given a distinguished service to it's members. It
has materially benefited many thousands of it's members and has
been a major uplifting influence in both the of Tuam and the
Common Bond.
